FRP FANLESS SHAPE COOLING TOWERS
FRP FANLESS SHAPE COOLING TOWERS
FRP Fanless Cooling Towers, also known as Natural Draft or Fill-less Cooling Towers, are designed to operate without the use of fans or fills. These systems rely on natural air flow to achieve efficient cooling, making them highly energy-efficient and cost-effective.
In traditional timber atmospheric cooling towers, treated wooden louvers were used as side panels to prevent water spillage while allowing ambient air to pass through and act as the cooling medium. In modern FRP fanless cooling towers, durable and corrosion-resistant FRP louvers replace timber, ensuring longer life and reduced maintenance.
The working principle is simple and effective: hot water is sprayed from the top through specially designed nozzles, forming fine droplets. These droplets come into contact with natural air flow entering the tower, resulting in efficient heat dissipation and cooling of water.
Highlights
